Recognizing outstanding visual research presented at SeedCon 2026. The Best Poster Award is given to the participant whose poster communicates research most effectively and creatively.

The prize includes a €250 prize.

This award celebrates exceptional presentation skills and research impact. The Best Talk is awarded to the presenter who delivers the clearest, most engaging, and innovative talk.

Who can win?

This award is dedicated to Early Career Researchers (PhD students and postdoctoral researchers within five years of completing their PhD). Winners are selected based on clarity, originality, visual quality, audience engagement, and overall scientific contribution.

ISSS Travel Awards (Early-Career Researchers)

A limited number of travel awards are available to support early-career researchers (ECRs) attending SeedCon 2026. These awards aim to facilitate participation and promote exchange among emerging scientists working on seed microbiomes and microbial inheritance.

Support is provided by the International Society for Seed Science and is typically awarded as a fixed contribution or reimbursement after the conference.

Who can win?

Eligible applicants include Master’s students, PhD candidates, and researchers within five years of completing their PhD who do not hold a permanent academic position. Priority will be given to applicants presenting an accepted contribution.
